Membership Requirements

Documentation Ready

Depending on membership type, DD-214, marriage cert, or license copy required.

Good Character

You must be a person of solid character and integrity — the kind of rider you’d trust in formation.

Motorcycle Endorcement

A current motorcycle-endorsed driver’s license from your state of residence.

500cc+ Motorcycle

Members must own and operate a motorcycle 500cc or above.

Full Member

Combat Veteran

Requirements

  • Must show DD-214 (and DD-215 if required) or a NG-22 verifying service in a combat zone.
  • Completely Visible Long Form:
    • Service-2
    • Veterans Administration-3 (Honorable discharge only)
    • Member-4
    • Department of Labor-5 (Honorable discharge only)
    • State Director of Veterans Affairs-6 (Honorable discharge only)
    • Service-7
    • Service-8

Support Member

Veteran (Non-Combat)

Requirements

  • Must show DD-214 (and DD-215 if required) or a NG-22 verifying service.
  • Same forms requirement as Full Member
  • Requires a sponsor who has been a Full Member for at least 1 year.
  • Must complete one of the following:

    • 3,000 riding miles with sponsor

    • Attend 3 CVMA events

    • Known to sponsor for 6+ months

Auxiliary Member

Spouse of Full or Support Member

Requirements

  • Must be the current spouse of a Full/Support Member.

  • Requires submission of marriage certificate.

How to Apply

Step 1 - Attend a Meedting or Ride
  • Before applying, we strongly recommend joining us for a meeting or ride.
  • Make sure you like our group, our mission, and our style of rolling.

  • DD-214 (Member 4 Copy)

  • Motorcycle endorsement

  • Proof of insurance/registration

  • Marriage certificate (Auxiliary)

Contact our chapter secretary to submit your paperwork and confirm dues.
Payments can be made via:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Full Member: $20

  • Support Member: $10

  • Auxiliary Member: $20

  • Note: Additional charges may apply for patches and incidental items.

Q: What proof do I need for Full Membership?

A: DD-214 showing combat service or official documentation of a combat award.

A: Request it from the National Archives (link).

A: Yes. Must be 500cc+ with valid registration and insurance.

A: Nope! Any veteran is welcome to ride with us.

A: Attend a meeting or event — our Full Members will meet you and help guide your application.

A: Contact your State Rep to initiate a transfer, then notify the new state’s SR to assign you to a chapter.
