The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® offers several riding programs designed to encourage participation, camaraderie, and long-distance riding among members. These programs recognize members who actively represent the organization on the road by attending meetings, events, and visiting chapters across the state and nation.
Each program has its own unique requirements and recognition patches that celebrate the dedication and commitment of our riders. Participation in these programs helps strengthen the bonds between chapters and promotes the spirit of “Vets Helping Vets” throughout the CVMA® community.
Below is an overview of the riding programs available to members. This page provides a brief description of each program; however, members should always refer to the official program documentation for the most current rules, requirements, and submission procedures.
The Distinguished Rider Program (DRP) serves two important functions at the chapter level. The first of these is as an incentive program to encourage chapter members to participate in rides and events. Secondly, the DRP rewards and recognizes chapter riders and passengers who steadfastly participate in rides and events. Riding and camaraderie are founding principles of the CVMA®. The DRP strengthens and grows our chapter.
